A Flintlock Blunderbuss by J & W Richards, London. With belled brass barrel, fitted with a sprung bayonet above and stamped with Tower of London proofs at the breech, decorated with sprays of foliage at the breech, simple one engraved tang fitted with bayonet catch, signed line engraved lock decorated with a spray of foliage at the tail, cock decorated en-suite, full-stocked in walnut with brass mounts comprising foliate engraved butt-plate, trigger guard decorated with a flower on the bow and acanthus leaf finial and fretted side-plate, with replacement wooden ramrod. In good clean condition overall.
