A Brass-Barrelled Flintlock Blunderbuss by Fisher of London. With two-stage barrel turned and belled at the muzzle and signed on the breech, stamped with Birmingham proofs, foliate engraved tang, signed, stepped lock decorated with foliage and cock, full stocked in walnut cut with a band of chequering at the wrist, brass mounts comprising butt-plate and trigger guard decorated with a flower on the bow, turned ram-rod pipes with horn-tipped ramrod with worm.

FISHER [1790-1826]

Made flintlock pocket and coaching pistols. He also made brass barrel flintlock blunderbusses and large bore flintlock shotguns used for commercial duck hunting. Shop in London.
