A Flintlock Blunderbuss by Clarkson of London. With brass three-stage barrel, belled at the muzzle, stamped with London proofs and decorated with a scroll of foliage at the breech with foliate engraved steel tang, signed, border engraved lock, cock decorated en-suite, full-stocked in walnut with raised apron around the tang, border engraved brass furniture, trigger guard decorated with a flower on the bow and acanthus leaf finial. A lovely early blunderbuss.
