A Fine Percussion Officers Pistol by J. Beattie, London. With browned octagonal to round sighted barrel, engraved 'J. Beattie 205 Regent Street London' foliate engraved case-hardened breech, profusely engraved tang, incorporating back sight, signed border engraved lock fitted with sliding safety catch, full stocked in walnut, cut with a band of chequering at the grip, blued steel mounts throughout, comprising butt cap with trap, trigger guard decorated with scrolling foliage on the bow and a stylised pineapple finial and ramrod pipe, completed with captive ramrod. In mint condition overall.
