A Crisp Percussion Duelling Pistol by Fisher of London, With browned sighted barrel, stamped ‘AMBROSE FISHER, FURBISHER TO HIS MAJESTY LONDON’ stamped with Tower of London proofs and fitted colour case hardened breech, decorated with scrolling foliage, tang, incorporating rear-sight, decorated with scrolling foliage retaining most of its original colour, stepped bevelled lock decorated with scrolling foliage and signed ‘A.FISHER’, full-stocked in walnut cut with chequering at the grip, with silver shield-shaped escutcheon, signed ‘C. P.’ blued steel mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with a shield surrounded by foliage on the bow, with pineapple finial, turned ramrod pipes, brass ramrod with concealed worm.
