A Crisp Percussion Back-Action Pistol by Collins of London. With sighted round barrel cut whit a long shallow sighting groove and signed within in ‘Collins London’ foliate engraved breech plug with single gold line, foliate engraved tang cut with sighting groove, signed, foliate engraved back-action lock, fitted with sliding safety, foliate engraved cock, full-stocked in walnut, cut with chequering at the grip, steel belt hook, whiter metal barrel-bolt escutcheons and vacant oval escutcheon, the butt has cavities for balls and is covered by a hanged extension from just below the barrel tang (in the Irish fashion) blued trigger guard with stylised pineapple final and foliate engraving on the bow, captive ramrod, stamped with London proofs.
