With round turn-off barrels, decorated with a band of foliage at the muzzles and at the breeches, line engraved box-lock actions signed ‘H. NOCK’ to the left and ‘LONDON’ to the right, the frames decorated with beautifully engraved stands of arms, sliding thumb-piece safety catches that also lock the pans, deeply chequered bag-shaped walnut butts, stamped below with Tower of London private proofs. A lovely pair of pistols.
