With sighted octagonal barrel cut with multi groove rifling, and platinum plug, breech engraved ‘2’, engraved steel tang incorporating standing rear-sight,  engraved lock, signed in gold, ‘F. R. PERIN LE PAGE A PARIS’, half-stocked in walnut, cut with fine chequering at the grip, swelling butt with engraved ovoidal butt cap, spurred trigger guard decorated with scrolling foliage throughout.
