A Cased Pair of 32 Bore Irish Pocket Pistols by Trulock & Son, Dublin, Circa 1840. Each with browned sighted barrel signed TRULOCK & SON, DUBLIN case hardened breech, foliate engraved tang, border engraved back action locks, decorated with sprays of foliage, full-stocked in walnut with chequered rounded butts, vacant oval escutcheons, engraved trigger guards and captive ramrods: in their original fitted case lined in velvet, the lid with vacant brass escutcheon, complete with accessories including bullet mould, powder flask, etc. Pistols stamped with Irish registration marks CN7033 and CN7034 - for County Cavan. 


Trulock, W. [1770-1810]

General gunsmith in Dublin, Ireland. Name changed to Trulock & Son, 9 Dawson Street, Dublin 1810 to 1861. Made cased percussion travelling pistols with swivel ramrods and loading accessories, also percussion rifles.
