A Cased .451 Percussion Match Rifle by George Gibbs of Bristol. With blued sighted barrel engraved Metfords Patent 1223 and George Gibbs 29 Corn Street Bristol at the breech, border engraved breech, plain lock signed along the top, figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip, with horn fore-end cap, blued steel trigger guard and butt-plate, barrel with ramrod beneath: in original leather covered oak case with accessories including two sets of Vernier long range peep sights, original rifle flask.
