With rounded one-piece skull with high plain comb, projecting forward at the brow to a short obtusely-pointed integral peak, lower edge at rear flanged and fitted with single lame neck guard with guttered and turned rib, retaining the original cheek pieces, each pierced with five small holes, the lower rims guttered and turned to conform with the neck guard. A nice clean example. Possible armourers mark on the peak.
