A Blue & Gilt 1796 Sword
A 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Officers Sabre. With curved etched blade, some sword strike marks to the cutting edge, blued and gilt with scrolling foliage, stands of arms, crowned Royal Cypher, Royal Arms and mounted Cavalryman, signed OSBORNS WARRANTED' at the forte, regulation steel stirrup hilt, with wire bound leather grip, in its steel scabbard with two suspension rings. A very good example.
