An Officers pre-1885, 6th Inniskilling Dragoons silvered helmet with gilt brass Starr helmet plate, white plume with gilt brass boss and fringes, fittings and chain are in all in fine condition, the interior leather is also in good used condition. The red leather backed pouch belt with gold wire is in very good condition and the silver hallmarked pouch is fine as are the silvered buckles and slider. The gilt VR of the pouch belt has been superimposed with a silver Inniskilling Dragoons insignia in accordance with Dress Regulations. 

NOTES

From embossed initials on the inside of the belt flap and with reference to Army Lists the owner of the belt and helmet has been identified as R.H. Rimmington-Wilson.
