A 17th Century Proto Mortuary Hilted Broadsword. With tapering double-edged blade cut with a shallow central fuller, characteristic iron hilt comprising solid guard simply shaped, down scrolled rear quillon, knuckle guard with S-shaped side bars, globular pommel, ribbed wooden grip retaining wire ‘turks-head’ bindings.
