A 1788 Pattern Light Cavalry Sword
With engraved gilt blade (areas of pitting) cut with a fuller running along the back edge, characteristic hilt with ribbed grip, steel guard and engraved langets, in its original leather scabbard (damaged) complete with engraved steel mounts.
