A 10-Bore Flintlock Horse Pistol by Columbell of London. With sighted two-stage, brass barrel (the sight possibly a working life addition) signed ‘COLUMBELL LONDON’ along the top and stamped with London proofs, plain steel tang grooved for rear-sight, border engraved banana-lock, full-stocked in walnut with raised mouldings around the tang and lock, (some evidence of old repairs) heavy brass mounts comprising, long eared butt-cap, plain side plate (small repair) thick trigger guard and ramrod pipes, with horn-tipped ramrod with worm.
