A .44 Percussion Starr Arms Co. 1858 Model Army Revolver, No. 1947, Circa 1860. With hinged sighted barrel secured by a knurled barrel-release screw at the back of the top-strap, russet cylinder, spurred frame stamped 'Starr. Arms. Co. New. York' on one side and 'Starrs Patent Jan. 15. 1856' on the other, rammer, trigger-guard and butt-tang, rough rounded butt, in patinated condition condition overall, mechanically fine.
