A Flintlock Queen Anne by Henshaw of London. With round three-stage barrel, numbered ‘1’ and stamped with London proofs and Foreigners mark, engraved with a stand of arms at the breech and decorated with foliage, border engraved tang decorated with geometric designs, signed ‘HENSHAW LONDON’ beneath the pan, border engraved action and cock, swelling moulded butt, carved with stands of arms around the tang, silver side-plate depicting a castle and stand of arms, vacant escutcheon and grotesque mask stamped with silver hallmarks, trigger guard decorated with foliage.
