A Silver Mounted Flintlock Cannon Barrelled Pistol by Ketland. With three-stage cannon barrel (frozen) stamped below with London proofs, border engraved box-lock action, signed on a foliate scroll, ‘Ketland’ slabs sided walnut butt inlaid with scrolling silver wire, cock broken.
The pistol needs the cock to be repaired, welded to the spur, the spring re-inserted and the grip patching. It retains approximately 60-70% of the original silver wire, sliding trigger safety still works. The cock still clicks at half and full cock.
