A P1842 Bayonet ex.Thoresby Hall
A P1842 Bayonet ex.Thoresby Hall. With slightly curved, hollow ground blade of triangular section, stamped with numerous Ordnance marks and makers name, ‘I SALTER’, the socket marked with storage marks.
Notes:
This came from Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire where they formed a fan of bayonets on the wall. No scabbards.
