A Stunning Engraved Rim Fire Revolver by Parker Field & Sons. With round sighted barrel, engraved with a geometric band at the muzzle, stated with Birmingham proofs below, profusely engraved frame, signed along the top-strap, ‘PARKER FIELD & SONS 233 HIGH HOLBORN LONDON’ engraved five-shot cylinder, stamped with Birmingham proofs, fitted with patent ejector rod and hinged loading gate, chequered walnut butt and engraved butt plate, engraved steel trigger guard, in outstanding condition: in its original lined and fitted case, with oil bottle, loading rod and turn-screw, the interior of the lid with Parker, Field & Sons original trade label, the exterior of the lid with flush fitting circular escutcheon. A fine example.
