With case-hardened fluted barrels numbered from ‘1’ to ‘6’ at the breeches and engraved with a band of foliage around the muzzles, case-hardened rounded action with nipple-shield and engraved with scrolling foliage, the former signed within a rectangle on one side, and engraved ‘Improved Revolving Pistol’ within a rectangle on the other, case-hardened foliate engraved bar-hammer, thumb piece safety catch, foliate scroll engraved trigger guard, finely chequered figured rounded butt carved with lines around the ovoid pommel and with butt trap with hinged circular cover engraved with scrolling foliage, silver escutcheon signed with former owners initials and in good condition overall retaining some original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including powder flask, bullet mould and ramrod, powder measure, the interior of the lid with the makers trade label (minor damage) the exterior with circular round escutcheon engraved with the original owners name.
