A Naval Officers Dirk, Circa 1810. With curved fullered blade, double edged towards the point, brass mounts including recurving ring quillons, mameluke style hilt, with 'shaped-to-hand' ivory grip chequered and banded (some losses to ivory) with a gilt chain acting as a knuckle guard.
